How to update the software on your DVC server

- Log into your DVC server using PuTTY (see How to log into the DVC server)
- Select CHECK FOR UPDATES from the configuration menu
The update goes through four phases. First it checks for new software packages, then it asks you to confirm the packages for upgrade, then it downloads the new packages and finally it installs the packages.
Simply hit Y to confirm packages for upgrade
If this does not work, it is usually due to some problem with your internet connection. See Troubleshooting your internet connection if you suspect there is a problem.
